In spite of the brutal drought and heat wave of the summer of 2000, framing work continues.
As seen in this photo, the rafters for the main roof are nearly complete, including the two front dormers.
Framing is now in progress for the porch roof.

Inside, because of the sheathing on the exterior walls, ones begins to get a sense of space for the rooms on
the first floor.
This view looks across the kitchen space into the dining area.

The second floor also shows considerable progress.
In this photo, taken from bedroom #2, we look through the "wall" into the office and studio areas.
Across from the opening for the stairs is the upstairs bath.
Beyond those (and through another "wall") is bedroom #3.

Framing is nearly complete for the porch roof.
Before long, roof decking will be added.

Most of that back porch will be screened.

Decking for the roof is nearing completion.

are being installed over the porch in the front of the house.
