The plans for the master bedroom are for it to contain nothing that would be considered to be actual furniture. The bed will eventually be built in. Does this count as furniture? The head board will contain space for such items as telephones and alarm clocks, and builtin reading lamps. This will eliminate the need for night stands. Okay, so maybe there will still be a rocking chair and some other small furniture items.

The master closet not only contains rods for hanging clothes, but it also has builtin cabinets and drawers for storing items of clothing. We even remembered to build in a hamper for dirty clothes.
